    It would be nice to have a 9800xt or something similar as a comparison, as I believe many people (inlcuding myself) would be upgrading from that generation of card...

    I know it would involve using a completely different system, however the benchmark results do that seem that impressive. The inclusion of another previous generation would show the actual gap in performance...

    ATI X850

    I having a problem as I cannot adjust my fan spped on my ATI X850 Platiunm card.
    And when I play games like Doom 3 the card over heast as the fan does not change speeds. I tried the ATI tools but the option to adjust fan spped does not show.

    I suspect there something wrong with the card and in the catalyst smartgear does not show.

    How can I adjust the fan spped as it runs at only one speed.

    It on a MSI 915P/G Neo2 motherboard and I have 450 Watt power supply

    any suggestions?
