Windows I found two people who think Portal 2 seems like a crap game

Seriously !

I shared this link on Facebook (I know, I know) and two guys said it looks like a boring game !

I am baffled. I had never seen anyone anywhere (net, RL) who disliked Portal.







What should I do ?

I've shared pretty much every video of Portal 2 footage on my facebook and I have yet to meet anyone, even my non-gaming friends who didn't watch it and reply along the lines of DO WANT!

 

I don't have any friends who play games. If I posted stuff like that to FB, no-one would care, at all.

Actually, I think parts of Portal 2 will have outstayed their welcome by the time it arrives. Portal was fantastic because it was different, new, exciting and funny.
Will all of those traits hold up again rather than falling prey to sequelitis? I'm not sure.

The friendly blue sphere thing was grating on my nerves the instant it started talking in the early trailers and still annoyed me even after they changed the voice.

I have no doubt that the gameplay alone will be excellent, but I feel they're going to have to outdo themselves if they want to avoid just rehashing what we got the first time around.
I hope I'm wrong, and that it blows us all away and makes us split our sides laughing just as Portal did.

Meh. I'm not going to buy Portal 2. I only played Portal because I got it for free.

was it due to that english 'comedian'. cant remember his name but he doesnt half get on my tits, when i heard his voice in the game it put me off a bit too!

Might be same here. Portal one was a lot of fun and very new, but I'm not sure if another iteration of it seems like it'll hold me through a full size game now that the novelty of the portal gun is lost. Not to mention the lack of replayability in games which heavily feature puzzles. Figure it out once and you're golden for all future times. I'd almost rather just buy a sandbox world with a portal gun and call it Portal 2.

 

Ive got numerous friends that hated the original so i cant see portal 2 changing their minds. It was mainly down to the lack of 'action', I prefer games that make me think they'd rather just run about shouting abuse and killing **** tbh.

Im looking forward to portal 2 but probably wont get it on release.

I didn't particularly enjoy Portal, but there's a difference in not enjoying and calling crap. I'm in no way enthused about a second one, but then again people will enjoy it, so let them. There's no harm in that.
