    At least he can type.

    I like this, its refreshing and funny, albeit so totally impractical. You should colour the box with some markers and make it look totally insane. That would be so cool, add some flames or something.

    It's also behind your position as Rigmaster General!

    Can't believe you didn't play pro evo with me today. Sucks.

    Yeah, but it still beats completely bastar*ising the English language.

    Nice work Krikkit :thumb:

    humm, the ghetto look is good, but isnt it a bit of a firehazard? mabey you should invest in some ghetto style watercooling to counteract this?

    Is this inspired by AfroTech? Because the afro man is my hero.

    UPDATE! 21/01/07

    Right, after a delay through lazyness, and revision keeping me away, it's finished.

    So, after shortening the ATX connector and the molexes (what a tedious job);
    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    the PSU bay was cut out;
    [IMG]

    the optical drive went in;
    [IMG]

    followed by the PSU;
    [IMG]

    So now it's all mounted;
    [IMG]

    there's a small problem. How do we use the CD drive?

    With a stealthed bezel of course!
    [IMG]

    Another problem quickly presented itself, how do we turn it on and off?

    With a flap and a screwdriver to short the header pins of course!
    [IMG]

    Now after a touch of decoration, we're left with the finished product! :D
    Front shots:

    [IMG]

    and a rear shot:
    [IMG]

    It doesn't look fantastic on the pictures, the flash picks out the edges of the tape too much, in real-life it's looking great. I decided not to tape the whole thing - the "Merlot Pinotage Shiraz" looks quite good.

    So there we have it, a venture into the ghetto world, a nice breath of fresh cardboard and tape in a world of aluminum and plexi.

    Hello --- ? One word...

    Fire

    stop and dismantle this mod. You wouldn't even be insured if your house burnt down.

    Fire? Computers reach nowhere near a high enough temperature to ignite cardboard.

    Onto the more important stuff:

    Duck tape! Brilliant :D

    How hot does cardboard have to be to burn? Just as hot as plastic.

    How many components melt plastic in an average system? 0.

    IF something went wrong with the PSU and it did start setting on fire, you'd still have a PC on fire, encased in metal, plastic or toffee that's a dangerous thing.

    It might be coming soon. We'll see.

    Thought I'd check this one out to see how bad things had to get:

    "The fire point is 258°C, the ignition temperature 427°C"

    Source

    How high are your clocks, Krikkit? :eek:

    Haha, I'm glad you left the wine brand on the side. Nice touch.

    Is it possible to get a picture with the optical bay open as well as the case interior?
