This year my parents went above and overboard... I feel soo bad since they spent more on my gift than I planned to spend on it if I bought it myself. It was a family thing. My parents bought me a lefty epiphone SG with a Peavey amp, so my other brother bought me a starter book, hercules stand, and hard travelling case for it. Also got a new belt, a new pimp hat, a lot of nice clothes, money, gift certificates, scratch cards, gloves cuz it's cold up here, and my own engraved beer mug with a tallboy... God I love my family... P.S. This is my first guitar ever! PICS!!

It's been snowing for about a week here (which it never has in the 15 years I've lived here), and there is a large accumulation. One of my cats is pure white and she has the perfect coat to hide in the stuff. My gift from my white cat was one dead bird with feathers all over the family room. I also found some of her cat barf on a pile of dirty laundry. My wife is really into Fengshui (Chinese spiritual placement of how wind and water need to be arranged to bring peace, harmony, love and romance into the home). In my case it took the form of a Japanese happy cat coin bank. Its pink color is for emphases in love and romance. It is supposed to be placed in the bedroom. (not a really happy cat) Due to the snow, several PC parts were delayed arriving until Christmas eve, so I get to build a new PC for my daughter today. I received satisfaction that my son having gotten a PS3 - 60 GB (in order to play his PS1 and PS2 games while ending up with a place to store the games in progress) will now make better use of all the investments that had preceded this. Also, it gives all of us a blu-ray player. My main gift was a horizontal washer/dryer pair on pedestals that replaced a 20 year old set. This made my wife very happy. Edit: Almost forgot - a white, red and green poinsettia, artfully arranged by my daughter, made of tissue paper. It was a very fitting gift for her to give as she is off to an art college in a few weeks.
Gotta be the best Christmas since I got my first pocket knife when I was 7. -Weller PH60 Iron cradle (for my WP60) -Central Forge ratchet crimp tool (10-22 AWG) -Hand made red canvas kitchen knife rollup (from my sister) -Ebonwood rosary blessed by the Holy Father (from Rome of course) -Hogan's Heroes Season 6 (The only one I was missing) And last but certainly not least, I'm back together with my girlfriend.

I did. After I get done installing all the parts into a mirrored case and it's in my daughter's hands before she goes to college, it will be admiringly used by her and she will know who built it for her and why. Edit: Not to mention a 26" Samsung T260 HD display and a new HP color printer.
New cycle gear - helmet, windproof jacket, tools and (unexpected) a really nice baselayer. Various clothes various other bits - razors and the like.
