Steam Left 4 dead 2

    Can anyone help with a problem I've come across? After a reinstall on another PC, "Left 4 Dead 2" seems to just quit after showing the "Loading..." screen. Using the "Repair" function doesn't resolve this one, nor does reinstalling the game.

    The PC has the latest Radeon drivers, and is running Windows XP SP3.

    Try through steam deleting the local game files, and download it again. I had this problem with BC2 recently. Had to delete everything to get it to work again. I believe the registry files are needed to get it to work again.

    theres also an issue with l4d2 this week and steam working on problem

    I've been reading that the newest Radeon drivers are causing some crashes, I think L4D2 was mentioned...

    I know anything from 10.5 and up crashes Magic Bullet Looks so for now I'm stuck with 10.4 :grr:
