I could be totally wrong but I was told that EK is not going to release waterblocks for Big Bang Xpower II.
Also I checked their website (store included) and can't find anything... could you provide link?

    Thanks :)

You are right with the Mosfet, but it's not yet available.
Also in the cooling configurator it says that SB block is NOT going to be released :'(

I missed your comment aswell, thank you very much :)

So I've managed to finish the wiring for both of the 8 pin connectors and here you have the results!

Now I'm busy with more wiring... and after that sleeving!

    More wiring / sleeving!
    today, power and reset buttons!

    New buttons, love them

Wires soldered, need to sleeve and cover the connectors with heatshrink

Time to think about the routing of the wires...

Almost done, need to double check connectors and make sure not to put them in wrong position!
There are 2 wires that are not going to the motherboard but to the Aquaero 5 unit instead.
Those wires will handle the auto-shutdown function.

Time to have wires ready to connect them to the Aquaero 5

    Special connector is required...

    Done!

Buttons are crimped into a 10 pin connector, 5 pins per row, and then directly to the motherboard.
I think it looks much better like this!

    Final pics with sleeving!

I need to redo the heatshrink of the motherboard connector since it doesn't look quite good... I think it's because I used lighter instead of heatgun :wallbash:

Thanks, I'm just redoing the heatshrink at the moment hehe.
I did ask EK about the block but got no answer...

I will ask again but I'm sure they are going to release only MOSFET block :(

    Hello!
I'm working right now so I can't check this, but I was hoping that maybe somebody out here @ bit-tech could help me! :)

I wanted to ask if all the SATA HDD drives share the same design/layout (for both DATA and POWER cables)
I'm asking because I can't take my HDD away at the moment because It's a RAID with important data that I need to backup but then I have older SATA drives that I was planing to use in order to make the custom wires to connect them in series (power) and then check the SATA cables routing/sleeving...

    Thanks!

I haven't come across any SATA drives that weren't the same, even with the SSDs and Laptop drives I've used

    Thank you Mosquito!
I did use some older drives to start working on my cables after reading your comment and some other from friends :)

I finished sleeving some Aquaero wires that were left (USB and flow meter)

This is the flow meter cable, the first time I see a connector that big that is not a MOLEX hehe.

    Caviar Black 2 TB... I think I should get another one :D :D :D

2 x Corsair Performance Pro. I'm going to use this in a RAID 0 config.
As you can see they are already installed on the little devil SSD mount :)

Ok, now I need to send power to all of the units... so more wiring!

This is the last picture I took, It is from last night and I did a hour of work after the picture... hopefully I will finish tonight and will post the results :)

I've managed to finish the wiring of the SATA power SSD's & HDD's and I've decided not to sleeve them, just the part that comes from the PSU until the first "bridge"

All the credits for this idea go to Michael, you can check his worklog @ bit-tech. Thanks for sharing :D

I tried to stretch the wires as much as possible but the white wire have a different isulation (thicker) and that caused some trouble... but I'm pretty happy with the end result.

I had to swap positions of my SSD with one of the HDD because the bridge connection was not good enough.
After the swap all the wire flow much better to the bottom of the case.

    Hey dude!
    BP waterblocks are damn sexy!
Do you know that bitspower have a follcover block for your mobo ?, it also comes with different colored plexitops :)

The Bitspower MIX79BBX was shown at Computex Taipei 2012 some day ago :)

Yes I did know about that block being released but I had no pictures!

It looks nice but I like more the EK style for the motherboard blocks.
I already placed an order for EK mosfter block but maybe I order both and later decide which one I like the most...

    Wow Sombra.,... great looking ram...

I must say though, that the original ram spreaders looked like they were made for your motherboard!
