as per title really i want a modular psu around 400w. all the ones i can seem to find are at least 600w or above, i don't especially need such a powerful and don't want to pay for all that extra headroom

    My pc specs are:
    AMD 5800k stock 3.8ghz
    Asrock FM2A75M-ITX motherboard
    Crucial 8GB 1866Mhz Ballistix ram
    Toshiba 1Tb hard drive

and its all in a coolermaster elite 120 case which is why i want a modular psu, im just using a cheap 450w right now and its a mess of cables i dont really need plus i want to upgrade to a 270x or 280x soon so i dont trust a crappy psu to handle that

Cooler Master V450S, which uses a smaller case compared to the RM450 (140mm deep vs 160mm deep).

Silverstone ST50F-P is the only fully modular < 500 Watt PSU I've found so far. All the others have the 24 + 4/8 ATX-connectors permanently attached.

    It's also only 140mm deep, i.e. has a standard ATX-PSU size of 150x140x86mm

I just picked up a Seasonic 460FL. It's super nice but it is very spendy.
