Glad to see you're pressing ahead with a new project! You're gonna have to expedite the Expedit pictures before you do anything else though ;-)

Yes! its the new EK block! It is their picture aswell. I have not had time to take some of my own. Exams and stuff are in the way.

I will proabably do the final pictures of the "Expedit" at the same time. But I can tell you she is up and running like a charm! Very quiet and does not seem to have issues with heat or anything like that. I have also put in 6hhds as well.

Hello everyone! Time to update the build! Installed the final piece a few weeks ago, I just have not had the time to post and fix with all the pictures until now!

Anyway, here they are!


The new components! The motherboard block and a few more fittings!



Looks very clean and nice.


Started taring down the loop and unplugging stuff.


The fluid seems to have been working fine, no visible residue left in the pipes etc.


Still a lot of fine dust particles even with fan filters on all intakes. Some cleaning up is in order.


I found one place where it had been leaking. Not enough to even drop but still visible. Found the perpetrator, you see that nick in the O-ring? That was the source of the leak. Replaced it and threw the old one away!


Time to remove the old heatsink!


As simple as undoing a few screws.


Cleaned all the chips and put on the thermal pads.


Done! It was really easy to install and I think it looks really good!


Time to start putting everything back in place.


Everything back in place! Water still a bit foggy though, it had small micro-bubbles left in it. It is all clear now though. Though a shame for the photos.


Also, I have taken new pictures of the chassis since I was not a 100% pleased with the old ones. They will be coming soon (ish) and also a video hopefully.
