So I'm getting back into gaming after about 20 years simply because I'm having to save as much money as poss, and they're far cheaper than a night out. Now I've played a few 360 games over the past few weeks and have to say that the more popular, widely recommended games (Skyrim, Gears of War, Assasins Creed, GTA 4) I've found boring as hell. Lifeless games which I lose interest in quickly. However, the lesser known games have been another story - Mini Ninjas, Earth Defence Force 2017, Divinity 2, Witcher 2 etc. I've found them tons of fun. Way less polished i some respects, but loads more fun to actually play. I'd like people's general recommendations anyway, but if you've any which I may never have even heard of then all the better as I'm finding those way better at the mo, and have come to the conclusion that a lot of these supposed top rate games are very much overhyped. Most games I run through once on the hardest difficulty, maybe do a few clean up runs for completion, then leave and never play again. Some exceptions I can think of that I played repeatedly: Army of Two Bayonetta Devil May Cry 4 Fable 2 / 3 Halo 3 Ninja Blade Resident Evil 5 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas
