I've had hugely varying results, anywhere between this and 3900kbps download, but the upload seems about typical. This is on an "8 Meg" connection. I've always had many minor reasons to dislike Supanet, but thankfully O2 should be hooking me up on Friday. A new modem also means I'll be able to connect with my new system.

    Edit:
    And eleven minutes later...

Annoyingly Durham uni appears to only be able to afford 10meg networking gear... that keeps dropping me and others.

On the Virgin 20mb line. Its normally is around 19mb to be fair... and upload is always dire.

I really hate the pitiful upload speeds we have with regular consumer broadband :(

I believe this is 10Mb (don't think our area has been upgraded to 20Mb yet). Don't know why it says Telewest still, it was merged into NTL years ago, then turned into Virgin Media.
