    Looks good.

What monitor are you using and at what screen resolution? If it is big, you may want to consider the 1GB graphics card as an alternative.

Also, the Antec 300 only comes with one rear and one top fan. I would suggest a 120mm front fan as well to ensure great cooling.

Something like a Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1450 rpm (£11.62) or a Sharkoon 1000rpm "Golf Ball" (£10.45).

Check out Scan's Today Only page (http://www.scan.co.uk/TodayOnly/Index.aspx). They do daily deals with savings on different stuff.

Currently the PSU, hard drive, optical drive and CPU are all on special so you could save a few more quid assuming you can buy today.

Alternatively, you can check that page when you are ready to see what they are offering on special.

I'm pretty sure that Ebuyer does do free postage on pretty much every item (Super Saver Delivery).

Scan's Today Only items, assuming you bought it all today:

    CPU Intel Core i5 750 - £152.74 (save £6.06)
    1TB Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 - £45.81 (save £2.24 on each drive)
PSU 650W Antec True Power New 650, Modular PSU - £77.26 (save £2.23)

Total saving = £12.77 which would pay for an additional 120mm front fan.

(The LG optical drive on special is the IDE version, not the SATA version you listed.)

Don't forget the CPU cooler! A build such as this deserves a nice cooler aswell.

Not really required unless he wants to start overclocking. The stock Intel cooler that comes with the i5 will be fine with enough airflow in the Antec 300.

If he wants to overclock then yes, a good cooler will be required.

yep, if he has no intention in overclocking, a stock cooler will be fine

Sounds like a solid plan. The Titan fenrir is a great cpu cooler (albeit a bit loud IMO).

Why do you need 2 DVD-RW's?

I'd actually go for either the Gelid Tranquilllo, which is 95% as cold as the Fenrir, but £5-10 cheaper and a lot quieter, or the ThermalTake Frio, which is colder and quieter than the Fenrir (though £5-10 more expensive).

Purely for simplicity of copying CDs and DVDs simple copy rather than copy to HDD then copy to disc, rather just 2 really, might just go with one for now though :)
