my pc and time

right here we go

im having a problem with time if i load windows the time is right but then it changes to 00:00 automatically if i then go and manually change it, it still changes to 00:00 and i cant stop it on startup in bios it is the right time and i cant tell if it changes when i go to windows but i was wondering if it is to do with that battery on the mobo

i have an iwill ka 266-r
1.2 axia
windows 98 2nd edition
256mb pc 2100 ram

all I can suggest which isn't helpful at all is upgrading to win2k coz it 0wnz...!!!!

i'd say its probably the battery on the mobo myself...

check that the bios deafults arent being loaded every time you boot if the battery is dead.

it shoudlnt be though, they last years...

 

sounds to me like it's right in bios but windows is messing it up....hence blame microsoft, and change you OS...

or you could try reinstalling :/

 

Go have a look at the MS tech support site, it is norm quite good, people seems to forget its there.
