Graphics Need information

    soon I will be replacing my ati 3870 with a sapphire toxic 5850 and I see amd drivers can now
    be replaced thru steam. now can I exchange cards and install the latest amd driver thru steam
    or should I delete the current driver,shut down and exchange cards,boot up and install a new
    driver? thanks

    You could use steam... but since you're swapping cards it'd be wise to uninstall, use driversweeper and then install the new drivers, IMO.

    I just uninstall/reinstall, never failed me yet :)

    If you are using the latest ATi driver, I'm fairly sure its the same driver for the two cards. No Uninstall/Reinstall needed.

    Yep; check here page 3. Both series of cards supported on the same driver.
