The best? No (I'd go for a Hakko FX-888 if you wanted the best hobby station). But it is excellent value. BTW, I live just outside York. I currently study in Liverpool.
Looks like an Aoyue 937 OEM to me. Have the Aoyue 950 arriving this week. Excited. The Atten and Aoyue sub 100 models are all pretty similar imo, add/remove digital readout, change the chassis, add a solder holder pretty much all decent, easy to use and fairly small. I think they share tips as well.
