Hi recently i built my first pc and it was an allround success but in the last week i have noticed the through both my speakers and every pair of headphones i own, there has been no sound. I have searched the internet for solutions and tried every single one:

First I checked my drivers, and then downloaded the latest

and everything was fine. . . . but the sound!
Then i decided to check all my devices, and after a bit of fidling I figured out that it was fine

I did the same with recording etc etc. . .

After that i checked system volume, and no suprise everything there was fine aswell:wallbash:

Then i did some mager stuff including reinstalling windows!

But nothing, as you can tell i am very desperate by now and will try anything you ask, just to say i have replaced the sound card.

Thankyou very much i will carry on replying to any questions!:thumb:

After tht i just searched around my system including reseting the BIOS but still nothing (aswell as looking at the realtek manager.

What sort of set up do you have?

Are your speaker cable(s) plugged into the correct ports?

Have you checked device manager to see if anything is highlighted as having a problem?

Have you tried the on-board sound on the motherboard instead of the soundcard?

You say it was fine apart from the last week. Have you installed any programs recently?

goto device manager, find your sound card, and roll back drivers
