    It will have an effect on the Core 2 Duo though, It has a marked improvement in games on slower processors.

    Best way to find out is try and see.

    My gains seem to come from where I am not 99% utilised on the GPU. If you have any instances of that you might see some decent gains.

    I hope so, if it gives my old quad a boost it'll be a nice bonus.

    I'll give it a try when my 580 arrives later this week. It'll be my first Nvidia card since the 6800GT, just after Henry VIII married his second wife. :D

    i feel like sniper elite has been receiving performance improvements for years now. seriously, does it show up disproportionately often in patch notes? if all those percentages are to be believed, sniper elite v2 should be running at a million fps.
