Jrs I think you really need to calm down and have a thought about what you're doing. Your design is very clean and logical and one of the ones I voted for in the competition. It would be a shame if you withdrew :(

Same here, Jrs77 is one of the best designs. A lot of great designs here, really liked Snowy Owl, Jrs77, Roboduck, and mickcox64.

I have those internal shots ready for the second stage, several in fact, showing many different Motherboard/PSU/radiator/pump combinations that are possible.

Again, I would like to say, good luck to all entrants!

Shame that you've withdraw (or planning to) jrs77, it was definately a nice design.

I vote for Danitgeek, seems to stand out, liking the colours used. ;)

Is it just me or does it seem you just pretty much picked all nicely rendered designs? Nothing against you, just wondering.

EDIT: ah, you can select multiple. I vote for Razer2007 too then, others don't seem to stand out for me so I'll stick to 2.

Indeed, JRS77 you have a great design and I would like you to reconsider withdrawing.

If I had known you would be choosing by color scheme I would have made mine something more interesting than grey...:D. I dont want people to look at the colors of mine, I want them to focus on the design. I figure I can work out the colors in the second and third stage.

Edit: I gave Razer2007 one of my votes as well!:thumb:

Oh man... That sucks jrs77.... Your design was right at the top of the list of cases I'd love to own, right there with Razer's and Roboduck's... Nothing against the other designs; they are all amazing, but we all have to choose our favorites and jrs77's was one of mine.

Hey guys, I would strongly urge anyone who's casting a vote to check out the last ten or so pages of the case design thread - there's so many details that just don't come across in just three pictures. Here's my entry, in which there are a lot more pictures going into the details of the design.

@Jrs77: I really hope you reconsider, I think your design is quite good from a functionality and ease of manufacture point of view! And remember, this is just to get to stage 2 - which I think is going to be roughly ten entrants? I'm sure you'd make it that far, then you'll have an opportunity to re-present your design for stage 3 and the final.

To all who gave me their vote so far, it's much appreciated and I'd like to thank you for that.

There's nothing to reconsider about my withdrawel however and a discussion about that shouldn't take place here. I've made my decision and can live with it quiet comfortably.

Good luck to all the other participants.

Should have guessed, the prettiest renders gather the 'Oooh shiny' vote...

i'm going to have 2 minor grumbles here (if you don't count that previous statement)

1, there is no small description about what each case could offer, not even a link back to a post in the thread where some of us have actually described thoughts on our designs. it's not made clear that on my design, the motherboard can be positioned in 4 different ways. the pictures, as the only point of reference, to someone just glancing over them, looks like 2 of them are just mirrored.

2, there was 2 sets of design 'guidelines' and some people designed to the smaller midi tower spec, and others to the full tower spec, yet all the entries have been lumped together into 1 contest. back when designing mine, i said that it shouldn't really be much bigger than the Corsair 800D. adding in things like a dual PSU location would have broke that design spec which i didn't want to do.. i shouldn't have bothered and just made it as huge as possible. it seems size isn't much of a deciding factor here, and i don't know about others, but i wouldn't want 1 PC case taking up the same room as 2 PC cases, my desk isn't big enough
