Does anyone else have any problems with time zones? I noticed that a post I'd been sitting on for a while had a time stamp of after I finally went to close it. Looked at the bottom of my page and it said I was on GMT +1. Went into my user CP and it was on the correct time zone of GMT. It only went to the right time when I disabled DST corrections :S

What is the problem with search? Is this a db problem or just a non-function problem?

It sure makes looking for info a little tedious. :(

Ahhhh....a non-functioning problem...I'ld be slamming those vb3 guys 'till they figured out what the problem is. I'm sure a patch is in the works.

It's weird. I upgraded from 2.2.9 to vB3RC2 no problem at all - even got a working search. :D

another thing that I liked about the old version was when someone posted a link to ONE post, it opened the whole thread and then scrolled to the post, now it just displays the post and nothing else, which can be confusing if you have no idea what the rest of the thread is about!

I see you changed the message after you edit your post :thumb:

There's a link in the top right hand corner which will link you back to the thread itself (yay for context) when you're opening up a single post.

Compromises being weighted, while an extra click and load is a nusance for some uses of linking to a single post - just think of all the project log-esq threads, where the one post which you'd like to look at is surrounded by 50 images in other threads.. now that's inconvienient.

it doesn't put you on the right page or anything though! so you then have to reload another page (if there are more obviously!)

I stopped by last night to do a little snooping and noticed the forum was down. Trying to fix search?

I prefer this new system (now I've found the full thread link  ) but it does seem to be one of those occasions when
applies - I get the rather gloomy Bit theme instead of the clean & delicate vB3 :sigh:

Talking of which, white text on the paler blue message boxes is unreadable... :grr:

What happened to the folder links at the bottom of the page? I know there was a complaint about it a while ago, and it was there, but after the upgrade lastnight it seems to have dissappeared! It's a real annoyance to have to scroll all the way up a page when reading something on the bottom just to link back to the forum homepage :grr:

There's always the "Top" link in the bottom right there, or the forum jump. ;)

Just noticed that the if you click on someone name and go to public profile you can not see when they joined or the poll options in the threads as that are the wrong colour text. If your in vBulletin3 100% style option.
