Case Mod - In Progress Project: AnG3L -MOTM April 2009 Winner- (FINISHED!!! June 19)

So I am back for the countdown to the end! (Not of the world! lol)
I will start with the motherboard tray where I put my artistic signature and madness for one more time after the cable management holes were done! I combined fiberglass with a dremmel bit to achieve the texture I wanted.





Primer



Black matte





Primer in the spots where I am going to paint orange



After I applied orange I also painted black from the inside towards outside to create the shadow effect













And here are some shots from the mobo (Evga x58 SLI)







And the mobo "naked" after I removed the heatsinks!



And the mobo "dressed" again with some cold clothes! (from EK)

 

And the psu now! (I will add some uv leds when its going to be in the case)

Here is the psu 24 sleeved in my own way and next to it its a black matte durable sticker I am going to use instead of paint. Its very thin and also very durable. When you wish to remove it wont left traces behind or remove the paint!!! I found it on a book store?!?!?!



And here it is applied on the psu.



And some shots with or without flash, with the angel sign on!

 

And now some other little thingies I've done! I added 2 uv leds inside the radgrill to illuminate the res cover!





I created some round black stickers for the fans and also some round black acrylic.



On the 12cm Xigmatec...



And on the 14cm



Attached! I also used a splash technique with black color on the fan grill

WOW, the mobo tray looks fantastic and the PSU looks 100 times better than it did. The case has come together extremely well, I can't wait for the final shoot.

Thanks guys! I am having a bad time with cable management!! These cases have 5mm space behind the mobo tray so its a nightmare! More soon

Correct me if I am wrong but that clear tubing has green coolant running through it doesn't it? Why don't you use orange?

 

Because he wanted to go with a 3 color scheme: black, orange and green. (dunno if he changed his mind)

 

sorry to say but the green wrecks the look
