    The heavier, the less the vibrations. I call that effective noise-dampening :lol:

    The machine-work looks good. I can't say I'm a huge admirer of the case design, but hey, it isn't for me. It almost reminds me of the Resurrection Ship from Battlestar Galactica
    (I'm not sure if an image counts as an attachment as this is not my project log. I have not been on Bit-Techs forums in a while.)

    Thank you for all of the comments! Roboduck and I have been busy preparing to host the 1st Midwest PC Modder event this Saturday If you know anyone from bit-tech, (besides Mosquito, he already knows :D) who lives in this frigid region, please tell them about our event :thumb:

    @Muerlin, good guess, ...stated in 1st post, "After conference a few calls, I learned they share our love for Sci-Fi, custom cars, and bikes." , but we always loved the layered look, outside of any direct sci-fi reference, thanks for comment!

    @jrs77, people always ask "How much does it weigh?"..... and my response is, "I'm not carrying it on my back, across Hoth in a blizzard, so I don't really care."

    @Ace, good hearing from you!

    @Andrew, good luck with the new job today!

    There, fixed.
    @Muerlin - Well, it's layered. I don't see much similarity past that.:lol:
    @JRS77 - I had initially proposed adding a layer of rubber sheet sammiched between aluminum plates.

    @Cheap - Ya. It is a shame there will be no naked Sixes in this case.

    @jokkos, thank for the post! I've made note to catch up to what youre doing these days, your work is always amazing! :thumb:

    Cheaps will smirk, only had Phillips pan head screws on hand for the preliminary assembly last night. I ordered Torx flat head this morning. Everything is coming together nicely so far. Here are the photos I took while doing the assembly.

    The sidewalls are .5" thick and will have Round Modders Mesh will be attached to the inside of the walls.

    We'll go over all of the bare surfaces of the aluminum parts to remove small scratches with 3M Red Scotchbrite Pads

    The Tech station will host two 480 radiators in the rear cavity. We revised Mnpctech 480 machined aluminum radiator grill design slightly for the build.

    Looks awesome, Bill.

    What those holes in rad grills serve for? Is it for opening mechanism or for cables?

    @Pranja - The back radiators are jammed so close together that a 90 degree fitting has to go on that side on the back ports. We also went with Alphacool "port ****" NexXxos radiators to do this.

    Wow, that is some very neat work, for some reason I think that would look sweet in gold.

    More like AlphaSlut. Have they been able to ship a radiator in the past few months without loose solder jiggling around in it? According to performance pc's, that would be a no.

    Call me old fashioned and grumpy, but I liked the days when watercooling was a challenge... When all radiators only had ONE set of ports, everyone used jubilee clips and straight barbs and right angle connectors were seen as the work of the devil..
