    bloody great! :)

What about making a thin panel that'll watercool the hdd's (it will be in between them) ?

ChriX - me too, (heh, Victor Kiam comes to mind... :hehe: ) :naughty:

iSteve - it'd have to be bloody thin! (unless I ditch my fdd - not out of the question)
I have got an extra hdd cage kicking about somewhere, wish I could find it 'cos those IBMs get bloomin' hot.

You know you want to do a red green blue combination inside the aquatube ;)

Hehe Spike - actually, although it doesn't show very well with my crappy camera, that's actually the UV LED version - I have some Glo mo additive for the water on its way, so it should be a bit more effective then.

Samiel_6 - actually I did have a leak once, or rather a brain lapse - I shut the computer down to redo some pipework and it was so quiet, I totally forgot to turn the pump off.
Disconnected the radiator hose and promptly doused the whole insides of the case with fluid.

:: cheese :: Cheers for the props - I'm in two minds what to do next.
It'll either be a case extension to accomodate the rad better or I'm going to go all out and WTX mod the case so I can mount the rad internally (but it'll be ****** tight).
    We'll see. :)

You do realize your resevoir is suppose to be the highest point in your water cooling system right ;) .

    Good job.

    So I've heard... ;) Cheers.

    Linkitch - sorry dude
    (not really) :p :D
    Glad you like it.

Bit of progress - I found my other hdd cage and managed to separate and grommet mount my HDDs, which cut out about 30 - 40% of the noise they were making - now I can hear my psu fan
I really need to get some sides on the case but can't bring myself to cut my metalflake clearcoated panel to take the rad.
    (this one)

It's one of those L-shaped one's which is the top part as well as the side, so I have to at least cut it for tubes, if not for the radiator.
It's either that, or like I said, a WTX mod, which is what I'd really like (even though it will put my res at the top :hehe: )

Hmm, lemme try a little something.
    Back soon....

Hee hee - Spot the difference! (scroll up ;) )

... and I didn't even have to cut my panel. :)

Tubes will be rerouted over the next day or so - I have some bulkhead fittings turning up today, so I should be able to get the other sidepanel on after they're in.

I had to ditch the other hdd cage and the floppy for now (I ran out of angled fittings) but it will fit when I redo the tubing.

I still can't fit the rad inside easily without some serious toolwork, so it'll stay externally mounted for now.
I still need to make brackets for the rad mount and add some carry handles in place of the castors (after all, it's still got to be able to LAN party  )
The new top will need some work and there's still that bezel to do...
It may take a while but it's getting there. :)

[Edit] - no sleep between posts, so 'scuse any speeling mistakes

    Minor update -

No extra case pics at this point (I'm off to the fabricators tomorrow with a big sheet of stainless steel and a grubby bit of paper full of case measurements though...)

However, as I'm waiting on my Enermax to come back from T*****ds (RMA), I got fed up of the noise from my Yate Loom 80mm fan that was in my spare PC Power & Cooling PSU,
so I did what any self respecting BiT member would do...

... I modded the mutha!

Warper - cheers dude, panels are on now anyway, just trying to settle on a design for a window before I cut it out (plus I have loads of plexi left for a window from a previous mod).

Bee - they're around £40 sterling over here.
As far as I know, there are no US/Canadian vendors, as AC won't export outside Europe - which is one of the main reasons why I set up my company, so that you guys could share the goodness. :D

If you get really stuck - drop me an email & I'll see what I can do for you. :)

    Cheers -H-
Wait till you see it with panels on then ;)

Personally, I'm excited about the bezel I'm having made...
The place that's doing it mainly does powder coating and needs a website :naughty: so I'll probably sneak the chassis in with me too. :hip:

Few more higher quality pics I had taken by a m8

    Before I modded the PSU

    And after
    [IMG]
    1280x960

Case temp is now about 4°C above ambient but I'll be cutting the chassis under the rad for better airflow soon too and panelling the sides of the rad housing with plexi to duct it a bit more.

Oh, forgot to mention, it has bulhead fittings now to pass the hose through (hence the fact that I can get the sidepanels on now) and I have some red tubing for going into the rad to counter the blue tube coming out of it.

[Edit] Quick MBM5 screenie from before I replaced the silent fans with near silent ones
