    Thanks guys, much appreciated. :)

Can't continue on with chassis until Christmas holiday, so I build these smaller things meanwhile..

This poor fan lost it's corner, so I gave it some sleeve:

Then I made an aluminum boomerang.

And we need some standoffs too.

    Test fittings those parts:

    To be continued.. ;)

    Thank you, Razer2007. :)

Thanks Fuganater. Good photos are not that difficult.. They just require real camera, light and a bit patience. :D

KoSoVaR^, haha, it seems I'm too slow builder for you guys. :hehe:

I don't have real update for you, so here's couple random photos of cables I picked up for this build. :)

    First HDMI-cable:

And power cable.. Still need to buy some nice 'hifi' Schuko for the other end. :cooldude:

Well.. Good lense definitely helps. :D But I don't have usually patience to use tripod.. In this log only those two last photos are taken with tripod, others are just freehanded. :worried:

Nothing wrong with Sony.. Mine is 'only' Sony Nex-3. ;) Pictures in this project log are taken mostly with Sony 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lense and Minolta 50mm F1.4 lense. :)

Seems we are drifting a bit offtopic here.. :duh: :D

While we are off topic, what kind of lighting do you use?

Archon, I usually try to take pictures with indirect sunlight. But it's not an easy task here in Finland at winter. So I also use diy LED-softbox. :)

    Thank you jeckulz. :)

Thanks Sarakon. And no, I did not test boomerang.. :hehe:

    Thank you Hannes. ;)

Seems that one image link was broken in the last update.. Sorry about that, it's now fixed.

And now at Christmas holiday I have lots of time to build this case.. Oh wait, I don't have Christmas tree, haven't bough food neither gifts..

    But I got tiny update!

Now there's aluminum cover for the fan in this thingy:

Got something else done too, but I ran out of space on memory card. So next update should come tomorrow..

Didn't really had time to do anything today with the case. But here's couple pictures of yesterdays work anyway.

    Got holes for Kühler cut:

And also sleeved first SATA-cable.. You've probably seen dozens of these and it's nothing special, but I just wanted to post this photo since I like it. :hehe:

Huh, I haven't updated this since Xmas? Sorry guys.. :worried:

So I changed colors.. 2012 needs some color. Now it's metallic red and black. Maybe a bit used color combination, but it should look good on this case. :)

And motherboard worked out a bit surprising way. There was really good offer on Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3 so I bought one of those. In the end Maximus IV Gene-Z and G.Skill Ripjaws Z 16GB -memorykit were together cheaper than X79-board which I was thinking earlier. Now I'll just wait for Ivy Bridge.. Hopefully my case will be close to finishing then.

    My todo-list:

Now there's cutouts for MB and GPU. Dummy MB is also mounted (who guesses which model it is?):

Yes.. It's ATX and doesn't really fit..

Cable tray is under building, still needs much more holes and other stuff.

Front of the case will have an additional stiffener.. Case is surprisingly strong even without it, but this part will also work as mounting surface to cable clips, Aquaero and logo lights.

Intake fan is also mounted on to the case. Fun fact: there's 3mm space between it and graphics card. :hehe:

Notice the funky cuts on L-profiles. :D

Still much to do, but it's progressing nicely. Soon I can start filling, sanding and painting. :thumb:
