    Hi all,
I am interested in buying a cnc machine for case building and modding, mainly aluminum and acrylic.
Do you have advice which machines are good enough for this purpose. I do not intend to overpay but also do not want to buy something that is too cheap and not suitable for the job.

    Hope you can help.

I can't help since I'm only familiar with US machines. Are you looking for a wide area gantry machine or something with a smaller work area but more rigid?
I've noticed a lot of Optimum machines here with the Europeans.

I would go with a Stepcraft.
For light milling of aluminium and plexy rigid enough.
    I like the modularity.
You can swap the milling motor with a 3D printing head, a cutter or even a laser.

They come in different sizes, depending on your needs
