:D. Taylor / Trumpers coconut is my favorite so far. Smells great, and seems to give the smoothest shave. Finally tried out some Taylor sandalwood, not a huge fan.

Those sound quite nice! Feathers are my favorite so far, but I might have to track down some of those Gillettes.

Those look lovely. I'm tempted to try Feathers but I'm still not finished the Gillette 7 o'clock yellows that I got for Christmas 2 years ago (200 blades, 5 left :D)

Looked around a bit last night and I'd like to try the 7 o'clock Platinums... I wonder how they compare to the yellows.

They are excellent.. Just ran out of soap so I ordered from The Copper Hat in Victoria, BC.

So I decided to get a blade bank so I don't have to worry about throwing them in the pop cans and recycle..

And then this order happened.. lol

I shaved for the first time with a Gillette Made In England, it's in a class of it's own.

    Nice scuttle!

It's all about the hot lather! I converted to DE 18m ago and can't pass on a good hot shave. I do miss the speed convenience of a standard razor, but not the burn!

I've been using this one for the past 2 months, I can't go back to my old bowl from Dollar General :D Also, the swirl pattern of the bowl make it way more easier to lather : )

My dad bought some pre-shave for my electric razor. Used it before shaving with my DE, and it worked really well. Just something more to add to the shaving regime it seems!

Took a trip to the local "Gentleman's Groom Room" :D and picked up some rare goodies - two packs of vintage English-made Wilkinson Sword 5s. Also thought I'd brave Feathers now that I've been using Gillettes for more than 2 years, and the Permas are for a mate.

The guy at the shop has TONS of these vintage Wilkinson Sword blades if anybody is interested in a group buy - I'd be happy to facilitate it. Alternatively you can purchase them directly from the shop here.

When I went looking for my grandfathers double edge razor I found tons (seriously, like 15+) packages of wilkinson sword blades, though not sure on the exact model. They've been getting the job done.
