Displays see VCD or DAT files with better quality

I change my CRT monitor to LCD and buy Samsung P2250 and use it after change I see when I want see VCD movie or DAT quality of movie is very bad but I can see AVI movie nad DVD movie and MKV movie with high quality ,
Is this possible I see DAT movie or VCD movie with better quality with LCD ?

 

are all of those movies (the AVI, DAT, VCD, MKV) in the same resolution?

I'm guessing the VCD and DAT format have lower resolutions than your AVI, MKV or DVD movies... If so, the fault lies within those movies, and not with your newly bought LCD

 

there is no way to make better quality movie from DAT movie ?

 

how did you obtain the DAT image?
did you:
1) download them, or obtained in some other way?
2) did you rip a dvd yourself and saved the movie as a DAT image?

If the answer is 1) then no, you are stuck with the resolution provided by the dat file itself
if the answer is 2) then yes, you can try better settings for the encoding process resulting in a better image resolution and other stuff
