    Good question

    I know that the VIA board/CPU combo pulls less than 10W at idle and that's what I'm doing. Just a screensaver running.

    The exhaust fan outlet temp (as measured by my hand) is never more than a cool breeze. I have subsequently disconnected the fan. It seems to be running well on natural circulation but I keep a wary eye on temps.

    Your skills are an inspiration! I've always been a fan of art deco/art nouveau, especially Maxfield Parrish and others. I love mahogany and have my grandparents' old bedroom set in mahogany and gold trim still in the basement.

    Thank you for the worklog. I'd be proud to have such a piece on my mantle or desk.
