    Hi,

I have had a really annoying and frustrating problem with Win 10. Transfering large files between internal disks starts off reasonably well at around 90 MB/s or so, but then drops off around 25% of the way to an average of around 5MB/s.

This does not occur when moving these same files from SSD to SSD, only when copying between an internal SSD and either one of my two large HDD's, two Western Digital Green WD30-00SPEB0.

There are no hardware issues on Device Manager and everything esle works perfectly. This causes my whole computer to slow down a bit and sometimes the transfere hangs and the computer needs to be restarted before I can transfere any other files.

Any ides how to resolver this issue?

    Thanks.

Are they all connected to the same SATA chipset?
Have you installed the latest Intel chipset drivers?
Have you tried running CrystalDiskMark on either of the WD disks to see what you get?

Do you get the same type of speed drop off if you copy to either of the disks?
