I've never bought anything not in sale or in a bundle, and lately I've gotten quite a lot of steam keys from Humble Bundles, so I'm pretty ok with this TBH.

DRM free games from HB would have been played to 62% is a little high

 

Same, I bought quite a lot of Humble Bundles. Actually, I even stopped buying games that are not Linux native.

 

Does anyone sell Steam accounts with huge libraries then?

 

I don't think you are allowed to, I mean, that's not to say people don't as you are not allowed to do a lot of things that people do, but I haven't ever actually seen or heard of someone selling/buying one.

It's illegal to sell a lot of accounts like WoW etc. but people do it anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if people are selling their steam accounts.

Christ!! nearly a grand on puter games.... although over 10 years thats not that bad!

 

That's the thing - my £3k-and-a-bit is spread over 9+ years, which equates to only about £300 a year, not including sales. And I've bought a lot in sales (though admittedly not nearly everything, I'm too impatient to wait). Most of my unplayed games are sales purchases/bundles.
