I've been saying this for a goddamn year now. Meanwhile, instead of remembering that people under the age of 12 exist... Our Glorious Leaders are scrapping all protection measures and closing down the data portal so nobody can watch the case count rise, and rise, and rise... I genuinely despair.
The official stance is ignore it, nothing to see here. We're led by imbeciles laughing in their chardonnay.
But, but, Bozo thinks it will make him more popular and keep him in Number 10. Who cares if more people get ill, most of them will be poor anyway and, if they die, it'll cut the benefit bill. "Let the bodies pile high."
Looks like the parties have done for Dick. Presiding over the extrajudicial killing of an entirely innocent Brazilian electrician and the resulting hamfisted attempt at a cover-up didn't, but the parties did. Amaze.
De Menezes was before she became Met commish iirc... still her career should've been ended by that, she certainly shouldn't have been promoted afterwards.
She wasn't Commissioner, but she was Gold Commander and the one who authorised the pursuit and demanded he be detained before transferring control to SO19.
Apparently Johnson's legal situation vis-a-vis the parties he had that he told everyone they couldn't have but somehow didn't know he couldn't have assuming he ever admits to having had them is "unique" as "No. 10 is both his home and workplace." My house is also my home and workplace, so I'm not sure I'd use the word "unique" there... Plus, y'know... the law - sorry, "rules" - in place at the time forbid parties at home and at work, so I can only assume Johnson's not splashed out on the best lawyer around.
Wrong cripplingly thick, promoted beyond competence, post turtle of a lady figure. I was referring to Cressida Dick, outgoing chief of the met. Though 'Lady Dick' is probably just as lolworthy as 'Lady Truss'
Our Glorious Leaders have finally cottoned on to the fact that "UK population" != "UK population over 11." NHS COVID vaccinations for 5-11 year olds from April. Better late than never!
Very good for him that he didn't tell millions of people to work from home then, now that might just be embarrassing enough for him to spill a drink in Mustique if anyone remembered any such thing having happened.
Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date EDIT: Interestingly, the versions available on The Internet Archive repeat the ongoing "91 per cent of the UK population has had at least one vaccination dose" lie: it's, as I've pointed out before, 91 per cent of the UK population aged 12 and over. Not the same thing at all.
