Not that this was a particularly interesting fact, but it's wrong.

The Great Wall of China is not the only man-made object visible from space. In fact, most astronauts say that it is difficult to find the Great Wall because it is relatively narrow, and the natural stone causes it to blend in with the surrounding landscape.

Apparently, sometime during a redesign/streamlining of their website, Amazon established that every 100ms increase in load time decreased sales by 1%

Afghanistan and one other country are the only two countries to be doubly landlocked, i.e they share no border with a country that has a border with the ocean.

What about the border with Pakistan, which has 650 miles of coastline?

    True dat.

However Lesotho is the only country to be landlocked entirely within another country (i.e. South Africa)

The first rawl plugs were made using a particularly unpleasant blend of ingredients of which the primary constituent was pig's blood.

Vatican City (the smallest country in the world) is landlocked by Rome on its own!

I think you guys are missing his ^ point ^. He wasn't talking about landlocked nations but doubly landlocked ones. So yeah the vatican is landlocked but it is NOT doubly landlocked as Italy has a whole lot of coastline.

I don't know what object is the most visible, but I think the answer depends upon a number of factors. Large strip mines are visible, but they aren't really 'structures'; they're more generally considered human impact. The same can be said for large areas of farm land.

People are so creative with farm layout. Flowers, anyone?

Many of the bigger metropolitan areas leave a large mark, especially at night when significant parts of the planet light up.

The Palm Jumeira islands are instantly recognizable. Despite being made from local material, their shape and size, and the contrast of the islands against the water, make them easy to spot.
