Everytime I see that pic I keep thinking you are doing a case project which is sponsored by T-cut !

 

When I see it I think it's a store bought panel the T-cut produced. I guess it just looks that good.

 

Seems to be turning out mad solid man.

i know this has been asked before, but i cant find the answer, where did you get the CF?

 

hahaha - sorry the only thing to hand to prop it up was the tcut !

if you check my first post the cf comes from a company called www.cfsnet.co.uk who do a huge array of products - I have'nt got around to playing with the kevlar/aramid fabric yet - which will be my next project hmmmmm

anyway - I got the front piece attached to my case and checked all the dvd/cdrw and floppy holes line up - and they did ! phew !

spent about two hours going down the grit scale with wet n dry paper as follows -

600-800-1200-1500 to get it flat and scratch free ... its not perfectly flat but hey most of the imperfections will get covered - (secret!) and then a good ole session with the tcut .... its all falling into place - just the windows to cut this weekend, then fans to fit and cabling and the top secret idea which will be revealed next week i guess ...

 

Looking nice m8. Can't wait to see it in the "flesh". I am also struggling to get some bits and peices sorted on my rig for sav. Mine is weakass compared to yours, but at least I will not turn up with it half painted!!!

 

its all about the pride you take in the rig - ie it'll look cool as long as the paint job is good -

quick text update - whilst watching tele and drinking beer last night I managed to mask off all 3 panels to be cut - plus draw the designs ready for the lord of jigsaws to commence - I am so excited! (sad I know!) big thank you to Tigermain with helping me out and letting me have some of his smoked 3mm perspex cheers bud.

All three case sides will get cut and finished over the weekend and the perspex fitted - oh and the fans that are int he designs too - I might if i have time get round to fitting and mounting the LED's in the front panel too .....

 

but you know we need pics !!!

I'll see it in the flesh on friday Cant wait !!!

He's taking time off work for this one !!! Again !!!

got the cutouts done - just cleaning up and the lights to rig up with my secret concealed "lightbus"

I have had to take 2 extra days off from work to get it all finished - so weds / thurs will be the completion days
