Well done Saspro, didn't take you long! :p I'm already higher in the table than I was before I started folding for the chimps, so it just goes to show how many more points my farm is producing as a result of being tweaked for the challenge! I'm headed for the 600K mark before the weekend is out, and after that there's no stopping me (I hope!!) until I hit 1M ;)

Have once again bought some new kit, this is as much as im ever going to produce for now, the only addition in the near future may be a dx11 GPU when they come out...

Quick breakdown of what I got folding for me:

    1 x Core i7 920 @ 3.8ghz
    2 x Q6600's @ 3.1ghz
    2 x E8400 @ 3.6ghz and stock 3.0ghz
    1 x Athlon 7750 BE @ 3.0ghz
    1 x E6600 @ stock 2.4ghz (HP pc)

    3 x 9800 GX2's @ Stock (for now)
    4 x 9800 GT's with 108mhz shader increases
    1 x 8800GTX with 162mhz shader increase
    1 x GTX260 with big factory overclock

All CPUs running NotFred VM SMP clients
All GPUs running GPU2 systray clients

FahMon reporting 60-70k pdd depending on WU's received.

And that is my lot, just need to keep it all running ok now lol

I said that and meant it at the time ;)

Congrats on the amazing output mate :cooldude:

Today's my folding birthday. Exactly one year ago I began folding on a PS3 and it didn't take long for the bug to bite. Since then I've folded 28 mil points, 51K WUs and had the honour of chimpin with a top notch bunch of guys.

Need to hatch my plan for the next 12 months which I'm afraid must include more time with the family. Work's been so busy that, when the kids do see me, they have been wondering who this stranger is messing around inside PCs and tapping away on forums. The scientific contribution has really satisfying and, besides that, it's been a blast :D

No change in plan in the interim though. I'm still chasing the blokes above me, so fold on CPCers :thumb:

LOL yeah I said I would stop about 2 months ago but then decided "I needed" an i7 upgrade and then seen bargain overclocked Asus GTX260's for £130 so thought, ah well when im spending £700 odd on an i7 rig whats another £130

But that really is it for hardware for me for at least 6 months anyway, I need to save my spare cash now towards my new forge engine build which has been on hold for last 6 months :(

Happy folding birthday though mate, 28mil in a year is amazing work, give yourself a big pat on the back!!! :D :thumb:

Its nice slowly watching my daily PPD go up since ive put my clients back in my name from CPChimps, wonder what I will peak at! :geek:

    Fold on all

28M in one year is absolutely insane! My hat's off to you mate, well done :) I passed 600K last night, and am well on my way to my first million points.

Thanks for the congrats guys :) I think I may have taken folding a bit too seriously over most of the last year but recent events have set me straight about what this is all about i.e. science + fun = win, win.

You chaps would've already achieved the major milestones you're shooting for now if it wasn't for our amusing little distraction, so kudos right back at ya :thumb:

Well done Phoenicis, 28 million is mighty impressive in one year. Hopefully, by my 1st folding anniversary I will have reached 4 million. Oh BTW, just noticed that I started folding for Custom PC on the same day as Saspro, 8th July 08. Although he's slightly ahead of me lol :)

After my 1st 'Folding birthday' in July 2006, my total was just shy of 120k points - mind you, this was back in the days before GPU and SMP Folding

With a shed load of mostly 295s and 260s in 7 rigs. Almost half the points come from just 2 of these populated with 295s.

This is just a suspicion, but I may have to face the fact that I went a little OTT during the Chimp Challenge :D
