The 'clean install' option in the custom settings of the Nvidia drivers isn't quite what you might think. It doesn't do a registry clean such as driver sweeper does, all it does is remove any saved changes you made to your Nvidia control panel or settings for multi screens etc.
Clean is useless on nvidia tools side as it does not effect registry settings. GeForce experience just gets on with the task at hand for most users these days. If your using driver sweeper or something like it that does everything.
