    Hey,

I'ld like to know the information on the motherboards used in a 1350 series Laptop.
    - manufacturer, and name of mobo.

I have downloaded the laptop product manual from Acer website, it says it has a VIA KN 400 series chip, supports Athlon 2000 - 3000 processors, etc.. but doesn't say information about the motherboard.

I would like this info, as I need to take apart the laptop to upgrade the Enhanced IDE Hard disk at a future point. Hence would need the mobo name and manufacturer to identify the type of IDE connections on mobo.

Edit: have extensively search google also, but no luck

    Thanks

From what i can see from the PDF manual, all you need to do is take the cover off the HDD bay on the underside and unplug it,no surgery needed.Boards for things like laptops are proprietry designs,i doubt you would find a manual for it.You need to check the biggest size 2.5" "standard" ;-) drive you can change it for,Acer may even tell you!
