Awesome work Boorach! I've been looking for an excuse to use a magic eye for ages, they're so cool!!

 

It's awesome. Warm white LEDs, magic eye, wiring up the heating elements of the valves: it's all meticulously executed to preserve the soul of the radio. Well done!

For your next project we expect you NOT to outsource your felt. You will be required to hijack one of the locals and make your own.

 

Haha, will knit and felt my own Fair Isle for the next one! As for spring it seems a long way off. Been gales almost every day this year so far and with no sign of it easing those outdoor pics will need to wait a little longer!

No chance of snow with the sooth gales we are having for the past 3 weeks or so

 

Yep, anything other than gales and driving rain would be a very welcome and long awaited change.
