Anyone seen this error before? My pc froze and after reboot I get this message when trying to reopen one of my VM's.

Any way around it other than starting again and loosing the work unit? :(

not seen that one, but mine has been stuck trying to contact Stanford all day today even after a VMware reinstall and recreating again and again.

Check in the VMWare directory for the Lock files. If it crashed they may still be there so it thinks the VM is still open...

    Worth a shot.
