Benromach. It's nothing special, but I enjoy it when I can.

I've just sold my JW Blue in the marketplace, but recently enjoyed bottles of Gold Reserve, Nàdurra and Balvenie Peated. I can see the attraction, but I'm generally far too lean financially to stretch that far.

To be honest I've no palette for fine beverages, past about £25 I just can't pick out the subtle nuances to justify the outlay.

Thanks Nick! - Yeah apart from I've been off work for 2 weeks with food poisoning from a dirty kebab house! - And just when I got over that 3 days ago, I now have joint pains, which left me bed bound the last 2 days...

So apart from that, I've been doing well thanks. How's you mate? :)

    Sounds... unpleasant D:

I'm well thanks dude, apart from really attractive conjunctivitis in both eyes at the minute. I look like the world's biggest stoner - ironic really since ten years ago I probably was the world's biggest stoner

    I suspect you'll be enjoying that ;)

I was lucky enough to be treated to a snifter of Dalmore 25 that a well to do alcoholic friend of my father's acquired for himself not too long ago. There's something about drinking a double worth more than most full bottles of decent single malt that simply has to be experienced.

It is, got Dr tomorrow as I have a major pain in my leg so hoping it's not a blood clot or something from being bed bound the past 2 weeks...

Well that's good mate! - Not nice dude! Well hopefully it will clear up soon! - Lol trust you! lol

I'm upset about my decanter of Hibiki. I've not even managed to tuck in to it once before being unable to drink for the next couple of years.

It's good news for my friends though. :naughty:

A pint of Belgian Tripel (just shy of 10% ABV)
I made it in September; it was quite rough to begin with, but damn, it's gotten good. I estimate I'm half way through the first 19L keg and still have another in the cellar!
