Just a little advice please. My PSU went BANG!!! so it's time for a new one.

    Current System

    MSI P67A-C45
    Intel i5 2500K
    MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr II/OC
    8Gb Ram
    128Mb Crucial M4
    1TB Hard Drive
    2xDVD Rom
    USB 3.0 Card Reader

I've been looking at the following based on the fact that everything was running fine before my 580W PSU blew (Probably due to moving the PC).

Thermaltake 675W Toughpower XT Modular PSU - £70

    Corsair TX 650W V2 - £67

    XFX P1-650S-UKB9 Pro Series - £70

    Thanks

If you want to SLI at any point then it is between the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 675W and the XFX Pro 650W Core Edition, as those are the only ones out of those three which have the connectors for two GTX 560 Tis.

If you prefer a modular PSU then there's no shame in choosing the TT XT 675W.

You can get the XFX cheaper elsewhere:

if you think you might sli in the future, a 650w should be fine for x2 560ti, but make sure it has the connections like another user said above.

quality > watts really, so id stay around 650w but looks to spend a bit more

out of the selection above id go with the corsair

I'm not thinking of going SLI, or heavy Overclocking.

in which case, i'd drop down to a 550w and get a higher quality one, something like enermax perhaps. the reason i say this is, if you are willing to spend ~70 on these psus, you may as well still spend 70 on a psu, it will just be better quality, and more suited to your needs

edit: just realised the enermaxes were quite a bit more than £70, my bad. well, i dont think you need a ~650w for that, i mean if you had one already, there's nothing wrong with it, but seeing as you know you won't be going sli, there's no point. i have an 850w, as at some stage i am getting a gtx 680, and i have a feeling in a couple of years i'll get another

If you want a bit of future proofing as well you could get the xfx 750watt pro xxx semi modular.
Its about £95, supposed to be the best bang for buck 750 watt available atm. It did very well in all the testing, thats why i got it :D
