Anybody here streams audio from PC to speakers in other room or rooms wirelessly?

I moved the house again, and as usually there is an issue with cables - my flat mates don't want them to be in sight, the landlord does not want me to drill the holes in the walls.

    I see two options:

    1. Regular 802.11 setup - need a usb wireless card and the 802.11 audio receiver, e.g. this Linkys audio player

    2. Proprietary setup (but not a bluetooth or FM quality ) such as e.g. Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes

The priorities are price, simplicity of use (i.e. fool-proof, did I mention I have flat-mates...?) and decent audio quality - at least something to match the speakers we have (Logitech Z5500 and Polk Audio hifi speakers)
