Go on then. Post screenshots of your PPD scores (from a single machine obviously). As for me...I am not going to be running than 24/7 but only the GPU1. Just showing what is technically possible
Even if I left my pc on, folding 24/7, which I don't/can't, I'd manage a meagre 15k ppd... as it is I'm lucky if I manage half that... I hate you all
Just keep going man. Until you hear a popping sound....or you see some RedFlames coming out of the box
I'd rather not... it's held together with duct tape and wishful thinking as it is... and overclock wise its about as high as it'll go whilst still being stable enough for folding...
Most folders already have their folding stats in their sig. Although I am temporarily not folding, when I am folding I am not going to put the extra work to install an extra app to be able to give my ppd for each separate machine
The point is to quote the approx. maximum PPD that one can produce theoretically. I can manage around 70k but I am not folding anywhere near that 24/7.
thanks erm who's Paul Allen? lol i have been folding on several rigs but took a break and just fold on the bigadv rig and my 3770k when the Chimp Challenge starts i will fire every thing up here's my 3770k:
Paul Allen ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZVkW9p-cCU Yeah the 3770k is pretty descent. Like my i7 3930k@4.6g
Yeah I had to go a bit above 1.4 for stable 4.8 and it sounded a little bit too much for a 24/7 rig. So I opted for the 1.36 at 4.6 with max temp around 65-67 C.
Anyone got a PPD of a GTX 285? Been given one for free by a friend who wanted it to go towards folding rather than selling it.
According to that DB, it folds at 8,000 PPD? Surely not, I thought the 285 was a monster? Or was that back when 8,000 would of been a high amount from hardware?
