    Hang on, they're making a SCAN building in Manchester uni? Where abouts??

    I like the pic, but it seems missing something I can't put my finger on.

    Next to the Kilburn building, where the Maths tower used to be. Behind it they've got rid of a car park and they're building a pair of new physics buildings. :D

    [edit]That's definately a nice photo - that building's looking much better than the last time I saw it, the whole outside was coated in yellow insulating foam!

    Where's this then? Used to live up Manchester but this wasn't happening before I left.

    It's down Oxford road, opposite the Old University buildings (Whitworth hall ..) They had just finished knocking the Maths tower down when i finished uni last year, so when i visited a couple weeks back I was very surprised!

    There's no focal point - the eye follows the lines down and to the right, but there's nothing there to make the attention stick - you just shoot off the bottom of the picture.
