I think it looks awesome. He did an amazing job with the paint and the metal Samus symbol came out great. The wiring he did for all the LEDs is also very impressive. There's so much detail, even down to the metal sheathed cords for the AV, power, and Nunchuk cords. Hmm, not the greatest... i mean, at the end of the day, it's just a wii with a metal disc and some paint.... also, read the decription, how much BS can that guy spurt out about LED's, lol, makes me laugh. Yeh, def not worth the $810 it's currently on... dragon
I concur. I've never understood this guys mods. He seems to delight in making things that look good already look terribly tacky and cheap. Edit: Oh ffs I got relixed.
It'd be even better if it didn't have that USB cable at the rear of the console; he could've modded the Wii itself and had a USB port at the bottom of the console which simply slotted in to the bottom stand. Now THAT would've been the ultimate Wii mod.
I suppose if you're a big fan, but... doesn't seem especially well-done. That sleeve job to the nunchuck, for example, looks fairly nasty.
No kidding... you might get some "WOW" effect out of it...but after all it's still a 250.00 console with some paint on it...
wow. sold for $2,026. maybe the person buying it didn't realize they were paying for a wii with another $150 in paint in parts? if this ugly thing can go for $2k, someone on here could certainly make some $$$.
