    Is there really a need for this sort of memory speed yet? Does it offer any notable performance of DDR3-1333 or for that matter, DDR2-1066 or 800?

    wouldnt having it come at such high speeds and voltages make it crap for overclocking

    2000Mhz stock is still a 2:1 memory ratio at 500Mhz FSB, I can't see anyone needing much more memory speed then that. If you do need more FSB, lower the ratio down a bit.
