Good news for the console crowd. I'm tired of listening to my brother complaining about 12 players shipment free-for-all. He's never witnessed the carnage that is 48 player free-for-all on shipment

They'd better release them for PC. I'll be miffed if not...

you can make the maps yourself. www.infinityward.com i think. they have download tool to make maps.

its just that you can make them for whatever system you want (PC,PS3,360). The one made for consoles will be submitted to them and probably they will take the best ones and release them for the consoles. For PC you can just make whatever. But I hope for the consoles that we eventually can have all the maps made for consoles and not just the ones IW chooses.

 

I don't want crappy user-made maps - I don't have the skills to make my own and the vast majority made by the public are garbage.

 

well i dont think IW is making any, hence the tool release.

 

This isn't true at all, some maps I've played on are brilliant, take mp_Village for example, an excellent sniping map. Others include mp_canada, and mp_darkroom for some brilliant night vision fights.
