    Looking for free antivirus s/w compatible with windows 2000 server and windows 2003 server. If you know of one, please let me know.

    I don't think you'll find one for Server as it's generally a commercial OS. All the free AV I have ever found was for non-commercial use. But let us know how you get on, I'd be very interested

    I am with mushky on this. You have windows created for buisness purposes so it will be very difficult to find one. Perhaps AVG ? it might work, nonetheless, as stated before, non-commercial use.

    Clamwin seems to work OK. You might have to fool around with some ports though.

    No antivirus is for the lazy.

    Even if you are very careful there is even the smallest chance of getting a virus. For a server its necessary.

    24giovanni24, you should have no problem running certain home antivirus on a server as long as you are not using it for commercial purposes. There are some (AVG included - pretty sure anyway) that will not install on a server but there are many that will.

    I tried avg and it wouldn't work. Neither did avira.\, so I went with clamwin.
