Found this story about a site that only admits pretty people. http://ca.lifestyle.yahoo.com/fashi...unches_in_canada_with_strict_ban_on_ugliness_ I thought the hot or not.com website was bad enough. apparently pretty people need a special place just for them.
The website also ONLY accepts IE v5.5 or higher! HAHAHAHAHAHA So not only are they beautiful, but also incredibly stupid.
ahhahah On a serious note, is this special interest community any different from cosplay domains or muscle car communities? It's tailored to a specific group of people with specific, like interests. I don't have a problem with it, even though its admission criteria is shallow.
just for the record, I dont see anything wrong with it either. people can do what they want. but I agree with Amon, its pretty shallow.
She's 19, with a college degree, and a fashion buyer? It's possible... but it's also teh interwebz, so I'm guessing not. Ninja edit: Check out the survey. Question #15 is 'do you more often than not have sex on the first date?' Men are split 80.3% to 19.7%, women are split 51.8% to 48.2%. Best example of self-reported bias EVAH. (Or else there's a very high gay population on the site.)
I know. I was just amused by the profile claims. Apparently a lot of the chicks on this site are 19 and highly educated professionals... It kind of ruins the point of the site if it's all so blatantly fake.
minor problem here.....people will just upload one of the following: a)photo of an attractive person (not them) b)photo of themselves photoshopped to be attractive c)photo of themselves with so much makeup etc shot at a funny and in bad light so they look "interesting"
How do you prove you are attractive? Ugly people could just take a random photo of someone attractive and say it's them.
"I want to start a website that only allows, white, English people into it - please send a photo and name so I can verify it" Oooo, wait there..
that's classic They're doing the rest of the internet a favour by keeping all these vain, shallow, self-centred, apparently highly qualified, fools in one place away from the rest of us. It also reminds me of this 'millionaires and beautiful women' only dating site that for some reason Facebook insists on giving me ads for... I guess you get all sorts on the internet, and they all need sites catering to them.
still better than sending me spam about breast enlargment (last time I checked I was still male). anyway, why would it matter if they restrict that dating site to "nice looking" people? online dating sites are full fakes anyways.
