Found the below on Digg today - found it fairly amusing... Scary thing is, some of it I find fairly accurate
hahahah i completely didn't notice the 'accidentally click on me?' banner until the third or fourth time i looked at that pic. my brain-based ad filter at work again
I saw one once that had things like the C drive labelled 'Big disk thingy with all my crap on it" and MS paint named 'keeping the kids busy' and the recycle bin as 'file under forget'.
Thats pretty funny, gotta love the AIM groups, think I might start changing some of the groups on MSN...
With my old P3 file server it is more like 5 minutes. IT goes something like this: 1: Click pdf document to view it. 2: Go and make a coffee or tea depending on mood and time of day or night. 3: Come back to PC and wiggle mouse. 4: No mouse cursor movement -> go look for biscuits to dip. 5: Come back to PC and wiggle mouse. 6: No mouse cursor movement -> dip biscuit and eat, dip biscuit and eat, dip biscuit and eat, dip biscuit and eat. 7: Wiggle mouse. 8: No mouse cursor movement -> continue with biscuit consumption while occasionally wiggling mouse to look for signs of movement in the cursor department. 9: Mouse cursor eventually responds to wiggling from 5 minutes ago. pdf document sloooowwwly starts to make an appearance mouse cursor continues responding to mouse wiggles from previous few minutes until it eventually catches up to real time. 10: Make the mistake of trying to scroll page -> go back to 2 while contemplating how effective using a hammer would be at speeding up the process.
I'd say it usually tends to be the other way around, as I'm a bit more calm with my language then they seem to be.
lol buy CS on steam, 9.99 $ get a nice logitech headset, 29.99 $ verbally abuse an 11year old on counterstrike... priceless.
Of course, if you live in a nice house, and work for a good company then none of this is true ;-) If I cba at work I just say and chill out for an hour and get back to work :-D, and my PC is mine both here and at work, so I don't even need the decoy folders... still funny though
