Altogether an amazing car - but that front end just looks awkward... those grilles really would have suited a funkier, chunkier front end - whereas this looks like the Macbook Air of the executive saloon world...
It looks like an elongated 3-series with bigger front teeth...

Again, wouldn't say no to one and who knows, maybe like the rest of the current BMW line up, it'll grow on me...

That grille is far, far too big.

7 Series have cool features and all but they always seem they're for older mature people. I'll stick to the M3 or M6 any day.

The features of the 7-Series are always pretty awesome - but I usually find a new S-Class Merc flagship to be the forerunner in car technology. Whatever Merc manage now, other car manufacturers cotton onto 10 years later...

I love BMW 7 series, although i think the grille is indeed a tad too big. I'd take a 7 series from tomorrow never dies any day though.

I don't think they've pulled off the "big grille" look very well, but the interior is fantastic. Anyone ever notice that the screens in car dashes never seem bright enough, seriously for that much cash, tsk. I think the big grille thing goes to Rols Royce, Cadilac and Lincoln though, the bmw grill shape is just to awkward for big, it's nice and sleek. But I be luvin the BMW's yay Germany! +fav

That was one of the best-looking big saloons ever made tbh. You can pick a good one up (with the V12 engine) and all the toys for about £10k now... Depreciation rocks! :p

like bmw quite a lot myself but imho the best looking 7-generation was the one before the last one (the one that was featured in the first transporter-movie)

    fanboy :p

Looks like it has a snout or snorted a few too much cocaine (the Danniella Westbrook edition?).

Check the braking out at 4:30 - more race than "executive travel" ;) :D

    The features though - Wow!

Wow, a Skoda which actually looks... Superb :p

    Quite the resemblance though...

This appears to be a new concept design for the S-Class:

Interesting... though it looks more like a competitor for the Bentley Continental GT/ Flying Spur than an executive saloon...
I quite like the current one. There are always a few to see in London... nice cars.

And a comparison of the two:
