    Is this like steam in that you can download the game again (with out paying) if you nuke your machine?

    some absolute classics here. Hostile waters, Giants and Freespace 2 are all in my all time top ten favourite games list - just a shame I already own them or I'd be signing up quick snap!

    The site does have some good games but they need to work hard to expand there collection if they want to stay afloat long.

    I hope to see some Lucas Arts classics (that no longer work properly with Win32/64) feature :)

    oh.. wow... Freespace 2... the best space-sim action game ever made in the history of the earth............. how could i miss that.

    its a great concept, but i think they are gonna get stuck in catch22 - they need more games to bring in the customers, but they need more customers to convince companies to let them sell their games.
    Still, i will probably buy a few of the games they have, just because i think its great to see companies actually trying to adapt a new business model thats more in keeping with available technology.

    if only they had planescape torment, been trying to play through it but the crashes from magic spells are really annoying.

    Yeah. I was royally pissed when DirectX 7 broke Force Commander... and LucasArts never fixed it. They just literally buried that game. :duh:
