You're right. I knew for certain that series seven and eight were disappointing for me, all bar a few specific moments, but the run of fail seemed to go on for so long that I wasn't sure if it stretched back as far as six. Reading some of the posts and episode titles assures me that series six was indeed great.

Oh, and new Kochanski was terrible.

Everything after Tikka To Ride was pretty disappointing, esp. compared with the previous series.
I would love it if this series is like 1-6 rather than 7-8 (and that Rob Grant is back on board as a co-writer), but don't think this will be the case :waah:

aye, same here. When ever I see him in anything I cant stop seeing Lister boy. Same goes for Kryten when I watch scrap heap challange, I keep wondering when he will stick his square head on.

Still a shame about the movie that never happened. I hope they go through with making series 9 and get it on DVD quick as my collection needs a new one :)

Amazing scenes, can't wait to see this.
Although the later series were poorer I consider it a privilege to catch one on the net or on the TV and now I get to see some fresh ones! :)

Quick Question, If Dave is free to air, why does Sky charge you to watch it?

Why does sky still put adverts in when you have paid?

It just amazes me that so many people subscribe to them!

they dont, you pay for the other channels extra you get over and above the standard freeview, plus your renting the air space you use ot receive it, and the customer service, and paying for your box, sky dish and installation, and they are money grabbing ****

but UKTV is part owned by the BBC

You need a card to watch Dave on Sky, hence it's not free.

most places sell cheap-ass Digiboxes nowadays, like <£15. Just pick one up, unhook your Sky box when Dwarf comes on, and plug the digibox in, and tune in, and watch Red Dwarf goodness.

My TV has freeview built in, unfortunately I can't get any reception on it.
